So the king returned； and came to Jordan。 And Judah came to Gilgal； to go to meet the king； to conduct the king over Jordan。
19：16巴户琳的便雅悯人，基拉的儿子示每急忙与犹大人一同下去迎接大卫王。
And Shimei the son of Gera； a Benjamite； which was of Bahurim； hasted and came down with the men of Judah to meet king David。
19：17跟从示每的有一千便雅悯人，还有扫罗家的仆人洗巴和他十五个儿子，二十个仆人。他们都趟过约旦河迎接王。
And there were a thousand men of Benjamin with him； and Ziba the servant of the house of Saul； and his fifteen sons and his twenty servants with him； and they went over Jordan before the king。
19：18有摆渡船过去，渡王的家眷，任王使用。王要过约旦河的时候，基拉的儿子示每就俯伏在王面前，
And there went over a ferry boat to carry over the king's household； and to do what he thought good。 And Shimei the son of Gera fell down before the king； as he was e over Jordan；
19：19对王说，我主我王出耶路撒冷的时候，仆人行悖逆的事，现在求我主不要因此加罪与仆人，不要记念，也不要放在心上。
And said unto the king； Let not my lord impute iniquity unto me； neither do thou remember that which thy servant did perversely the day that my lord the king went out of Jerusalem； that the king should take it to his heart。
19：20仆人明知自己有罪，所以约瑟全家之中，今日我首先下来迎接我主我王。
For thy servant doth know that I have sinned： therefore； behold； I am e the first this day of all the house of Joseph to go down to meet my lord the king。
19：21洗鲁雅的儿子亚比筛说，示每既咒骂耶和华的受膏者，不应当治死他吗。
But Abishai the son of Zeruiah answered and said； Shall not Shimei be put to death for this； because he cursed the LORD's anointed？
19：22大卫说，洗鲁雅的儿子，我与你们有何关涉，使你们今日与我反对呢。今日在以色列中岂可治死人呢。我岂不知今日我作以色列的王吗。
And David said； What have I to do with you； ye sons of Zeruiah； that ye should this day be adversaries unto me？ shall there any man be put to death this day in Israel？ for do not I know that I am this day king over Israel？
19：23于是王对示每说，你必不死。王就向他起誓。
Therefore the king said unto Shimei； Thou shalt not die。 And the king sware unto him。
19：24扫罗的孙子米非波设也下去迎接王。他自从王去的日子，直到王平平安安地回来，没有修脚，没有剃胡须，也没有洗衣服。
And Mephibosheth the son of Saul came down to meet the king； and had neither dressed his feet； nor trimmed his beard； nor washed his clothes； from the day the king departed until the day he came again in peace。
19：25他来到耶路撒冷迎接王的时候，王问他说，米非波设，你为什么没有与我同去呢。
And it came to pass； when he was e to Jerusalem to meet the king； that the king said unto him； Wherefore wentest not thou with me； Mephibosheth？
19：26他回答说，我主我王，仆人是瘸腿的。那日我想要备驴骑上，与王同去，无奈我的仆人欺哄了我，
And he answered； My lord； O king； my servant deceived me： for thy servant said； I will saddle me an ass； that I may ride thereon； and go to the king； because thy servant is lame。
19：27又在我主我王面前谗毁我。然而我主我王如同神的使者一般，你看怎样好，就怎样行吧。
And he hath slandered thy servant unto my lord the king； but my lord the king is as an angel of God： do therefore what is good in thine eyes。
19：28因为我祖全家的人，在我主我王面前都算为死人，王却使仆人在王的席上同人吃饭，我现在向王还能辨理诉冤吗。
For all of my father's house were but dead men before my lord the king： yet didst thou set thy servant among them that did eat at thine own table。 What right therefore have I yet to cry any more unto the king？
19：29王对他说，你何必再提你的事呢。我说，你与洗巴均分地土。
And the king said unto him； Why speakest thou any more of thy matters？ I have said； Thou and Ziba divide the land。
19：30米非波设对王说，我主我王既平平安安地回宫，就任凭洗巴都取了也可以。
And Mephibosheth said unto the king； Yea； let him take all； forasmuch as my lord the king is e again in peace unto his own house。
19：31基列人巴西莱从罗基琳下来，要送王过约旦河，就与王一同过了约旦河。
And Barzillai the Gileadite came down from Rogelim； and went over Jordan with the king； to conduct him over Jordan。
19：32巴西莱年纪老迈，已经八十岁了。王住在玛哈念的时候，他就拿食物来供给王。他原是大富户。
Now Barzillai was a very aged man； even fourscore years old： and he had provided the king of sustenance while he lay at Mahanaim； for he was a very great man。
19：33王对巴西莱说，你与我同去，我要在耶路撒冷那里养你的老。
And the king said unto Barzillai； e thou over with me； and I will feed thee with me in Jerusalem。
19：34巴西莱对王说，我在世的年日还能有多少，使我与王同上耶路撒冷呢。
And Barzillai said unto the king； How long have I to live； that I should go up with the king unto Jerusalem？
19：35仆人现在八十岁了，还能尝出饮食的滋味，辨别美恶吗。还能听男女歌唱的声音吗。仆人何必累赘我主我王呢。
I am this day fourscore years old： and can I discern between good and evil？ can thy servant taste what I eat or what I drink？ can I hear any more the voice of singing men and singing women？ wherefore then should thy servant be yet a burden unto my lord the king？
19：36仆人只要送王过约旦河，王何必赐我这样的恩典呢。
Thy servant will go a little way over Jordan with the king： and why should the king repense it me with such a reward？
19：37求你准我回去，好死在我本城，葬在我父母的墓旁。这里有王的仆人金罕，让他同我主我王过去，可以随意待他。
Let thy servant； I pray thee； turn back again； that I may die in mine own city； and be buried by the grave of my father and of my mother。 But behold thy servant Chimham； let him go over with my lord the king； and do to him what shall seem good unto thee。
19：38王说，金罕可以与我同去，我必照你的心愿待他。你向我求什么，我都必为你成就。
And the king answered； Chimham shall go over with me； and I will do to him that which shall seem good unto thee： and whatsoever thou shalt require of me； that will I do for thee。
19：39于是众民过约旦河，王也过去。王与巴西莱亲嘴，为他祝福，巴西莱就回本地去了。
And all the people went over Jordan。 And when the king was e over； the king kissed Barzillai； and blessed him； and he returned unto his own place。
19：40王过去，到了吉甲，金罕也跟他过去。犹大众民和以色列民的一半也都送王过去。
Then the king went on to Gilgal； and Chimham went on with him： and all the people of Judah conducted the king； and also half the people of Israel。
19：41以色列众人来见王，对他说，我们弟兄犹大人为什么暗暗送王和王的家眷，并跟随王的人过约旦河。
And； behold； all the men of Israel came to the king； and said unto the king； Why have our brethren the men of Judah stolen thee away； and have brought the king； and his household； and all David's men with him； over Jordan？
19：42犹大众人回答以色列人说，因为王与我们是亲属，你们为何因这事发怒呢。我们吃了王的什么呢。王赏赐了我们什么呢。
And all the men of Judah answered the men of Israel； Because the king is near of kin to us： wherefore then be ye angry for this matter？ have we eaten at all of the king's cost？ or hath he given us any gift？
19：43以色列人回答犹大人说，按支派，我们与王有十分的情分。在大卫身上，我们也比你们更有情分。你们为何藐视我们，请王回来不先与我们商量呢。但犹大人的话比以色列人的话更硬。
And the men of Israel answered the men of Judah； and said； We have ten parts in the king； and we have also more right in David than ye： why then did ye despi
